Corporate Finance Relationship Manager – Private Equity Sponsor Finance, Investment Bank

London/Hybrid working

Our client is seeking a Corporate Finance Relationship Manager to join their expanding Acquisition and Strategic Finance team, focusing on Private Equity Sponsor Finance across the UK and Northern Europe.

In this role, you will originate, arrange, and execute financing transactions, including Holdco loans, exit bridges, acquisition facilities, and continuation funds financings, while building relationships with Private Equity sponsors and advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate Deals: Identify and engage with potential sponsors and intermediaries to source transaction opportunities.
  • Lead Pitching & Negotiations: Manage the pitching phase, perform risk analysis, and negotiate term sheets and legal documentation.
  • Monitor Portfolio: Ensure active monitoring and accurate reporting of portfolio exposures.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support junior team members.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related field, with experience in leveraged or fund finance transactions.
  • Strong credit background and experience working with financial sponsors.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and negotiating syndicated loan documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (French is a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
