Inside Jupiter
Flexibility in building your career
We are dedicated to investing in the skills and knowledge of our people. We encourage all colleagues to continue learning and to stretch themselves and their teams. At Jupiter, we’re invested in our employees growth, knowing it drives our success.
The size of our business allows us to be agile and collaborative across teams, creating a platform for you to seize new opportunities that align with your ambitions. We promote your professional development with our extensive Learning & Development offer and encourage internal career moves.
All business areas invest in their teams through role-specific qualifications, including the IMC and CFA. We also support development in a range of other technical fields including data and automation, data science, sales, systems, project management, derivatives, and investment decision-making. At Jupiter, you design your career, and we provide the support for your journey.
We’ve been clear on our approach to hybrid working since we all returned to the office in 2021. We offer up to two days working remotely per week, with Tuesday and Thursday designated as fixed office days. This arrangement allows our colleagues to strike a balance between collaborating together and balancing home life and further reinforces our ethos of collaboration.
We’re open to flexible working, with part-time and alternative working patterns among some of the options available to our people. We’d encourage you to discuss this during your interview if you’re looking to take advantage of the flexibility offered.
Celebrating an inclusive culture
Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can reach their full potential.
Diversity of thought, experience and perspectives has long underpinned our high-conviction investment approach, and is fundamental to how we think. We respect and celebrate different perspectives and are tenacious in our ambition to extend this as widely as possible. We are actively involved in a number of industry initiatives, including early years schemes such as Investment 20/20, GAIN, and Diversity Project’s Pathway programme.
Employee led inclusion
We’re proud of our thriving Employee Networks, who are empowered and supported to choose their areas of focus and annual direction, covering Gender Equality, Ethnicity and Culture, Faith, LGBT+, Neurodiversity and Cancer Support. These Networks are brought together through a central DE&I Forum which is proudly sponsored and chaired by our CEO, Matthew Beesley.
